As part of the 2020 Virtual Summer Institute, Olin offered a remote version of the Design Coaching program, an integral part of the regular Summer Institute that offers a scaffolded experience to enable teams to make meaningful progress on curricular and institutional projects.
Each participating team was assigned two Olin faculty members as coaches. Recognizing that teams may be limited in their ability to engage at full capacity during the Summer Institute week (June 8-12), we developed a flexible engagement model that will allowed teams to extend their interactions with their Olin coaches over a longer period in June. Teams and their students were also able to interact with Olin students as co-design partners, much as we do in our own curricular innovation efforts.
We were excited to work with teams from the following institutions:
Ahmedabad University |
Baylor University |
Cooper Union |
Dublin City University |
Instituto Brasileiro de Tecnologia e Ciencias da Computação (Brazilian Institute dor Technology and Computer Sciences) |
ITMO University (2 teams) |
James Madison University |
Minnesota State University, Mankato |
Norwegian University of Science and Technology |
University of Connecticut |
University of New Haven |
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill |
University of Tsukuba |
Western New England University |
